“Although my how has changed, my goal is the same as it’s always been — to help people through my love of sport.” – Sam Jones (‘26)
After an unexpected medical retirement transformed his college career, Sam Jones created a path for himself in true Wake Forest fashion — with resiliency, pathways beyond those initially imagined, and a commitment to do good.
Through rediscovered purpose, this special edition of CARE on Film, Vol. 2, first tells you his story, then offers you a look into what care on campus looks like for him in this chapter.

A woman with a story and a book to match — In an exclusive book signing brunch with student leaders, Stephanie Quayle shares the stories that gave her the roadmap for “Why Do We Stay? How My Toxic Relationship Can Help You Find Freedom.” In her debut book, the singer-songwriter turned author chronicles her experiences with relationships, grief, healing, and the practical resources that helped her find freedom in the aftermath.
Rolling Stone called her “an artist you need to know.” Tonight, you’ll get the chance to when she trades the CMT Fest and Grand Ole Opry stage for the Green Room in Reynolda Hall. Open to the entire campus community, Stephanie will speak tonight on how her healing has redefined her future and is inspiring others.
The event is set for 4-6 p.m., with remarks beginning at 4:30 p.m. Books will be available for purchase and for Stephanie to sign!
